The heart of our operation is our custom grazing partnership with Integrity Land & Cattle, who specialize in carefully managing commingled groups of freshly weaned calves through a structured backgrounding program, turning what is often considered the highest risk period into one of the most valuable. During the first 90 day phase, calves are closely monitored, vaccinated, and given time to build immunity and adapt to life in a new group. This reduces stress, promotes steady feed and water intake, and ensures a smooth transition to a forage based diet. After the calves have made it through Integrity Land & Cattle’s health protocols and backgrounding program, they’re weighed across certified scales and loaded on trucks bound for our pastures. That start weight marks the beginning of the season for us.
